The decrease of number of optical elements is always a piece of good news when it comes to performance against bright light. Of course the task before such a kind of lens remains difficult - after all you deal here with as many as 24 air-to-glass surfaces, very wide angles of view, small physical dimensions, and a big front element. All it means that problems with unwanted reflections might be common and sometimes even very acute. Specifically, we didn't like the fact that light artifacts can be registered even when the source of bright light is situated far away from the frame.
