The Tamron 90 mm f/2.8 Di III Macro VXD experiences some problems when it comes to the performance against bright light. Fortunately they appear by and large only when the sun is positioned inside the frame or in its very corner. When you move the source of bright light outside the frame all problems end and, what's more, there is no significant loss of contrast across the frame.
In this category the Tamron lost to the Sigma but also fared a tad better than the more expensive Sony model.
