If I wanted to be really mean I would say that by buying any Venus Optics lens in the majority of cases you also purchase a really abysmal performance against bright light in the package. The FFII 90 mm f/2.8 CA-Dreamer Macro 2X is, unfortunately, not an exception to that rule.
Depending on the position of the source of bright light you can catch practically everything, starting from classic fares, through circular curlicues that are able to destroy practically the whole shot, and big contrast losses, up to a significant brightening of one of the frame corners that doesn't disappear even if you scene is situated very far from the source of light – take your pick.
Unfortunately in this category Venus Optics still has a lot to catch up on.
