The performance against bright light of the Panasonic S 85 mm f/1.8 is not completely free of light artifacts but, overall, the situation in this category is not bad. The number of flares is not high and their intensity rather moderate.
Most of problems you can experience on distinct stopping down, when the sun is positioned in the frame corner or right outside it. In this case the Panasonic performs a tad weaker than its rivals but differences aren't that pronounced and you can say all lenses fit medium level of this testing category.
