This is due to suspension in deliveries of optical lenses produced in Japan by factories located on the area destroyed by the Tsunami wave which hit Japanese shores on 11th of March 2011. Yesterday evening we received the final version Samyang 35 mm f/1.4 AS UMC lens. This morning we mounted it to the Nikon D3x and made the first shots to quickly share with you. We remind you that the pictures are JPEG files stright from the camera with minimal available level of sharpening set and noise reduction turned off.

Today we would like to present on of our old reviews. Nikkor 12-24 mm f/4.0G ED-IF DX lens with the field of view ranging from 99 to 61 degrees was launched in March 2003. We tested this lens in 2007 and we hope its review will be interesting for You. Enjoy!

Fujifilm FinePix X100 is another camera, which was dedicated to some of the workshops held on the occasion of the Spring School of Photography by Fujifilm. We can present the gallery of sample photos taken with this compact camera. The camera was loaded with the final firmware version numbered 1.0.

Almost five years ago we tested Canon EF 85 mm f/1.8 USM lens and published our review in April 2006 on Optyczne.pl. One year and a half ago we made a test of this lens using full frame camera. A 24 mm lens on a small sensor camera can be a quite interesting e.g. journalistic option. The angle of view is wide enough to fit as much as you need inside the frame and, at the same time, narrow enough to avoid huge deformations.
