In May 2008 Olympus announced the launch of a 9-18 mm focal length lens with the angle of view in the range from 100 to 62 degrees. This piece of news made the 4/3rds users very happy as, up to that point, they have had only a limited choice between an expensive 7-14 mm lens and the sought-after 11-22 mm when it comes to wide angle lenses. Today we have the pleasure to present our review of Olympus Zuiko Digital 11-22 mm f/2.8-3.5. Enjoy!

Our previous articles on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the F bayonet mount and the 90th anniversary of the Olympus company presented duels between old and new lenses of a given manufacturer. At the end of 2007, Sigma announced the launch of two new „fisheye” type lenses of focal lengths 4.5 and 10 mm, designed for use with small APS-C/DX sensors. They are both extremely interesting instruments and as soon as they were available in Poland we have decided to test them. In March 2006 the Pentax company informed about launching a new Limited series lens on the market. It was supposed to be a 70 mm f/2.4 model and it was scheduled to hit shop shelves in October. The Canon EF 300 mm f/4L IS USM lens was launched in March 1997 as a successor of an EF 3000 mm f/4L USM lens without stabilization, introduced in December 1991. This high class telephoto lens is a very interesting proposition for advanced amateurs or even professionals. Is it worth the amount of money which one has to pay for it? We've decided to check this carefully and we present its review today. Enjoy!

In September 2007, along with an A700 reflex camera, a Sony DT 16-105 MM F/3.5-5.6 lens hit shop shelves. It is very interesting construction, which doesn't have its equivalent in any other system. In March 2007, together with the camera Nikon D40x, a new lens of this company was lunched - Nikkor AF-S DX 55-200 mm f/4-5.6G IF-ED VR. It's a zoom telephoto lens of lower price class, equipped also with an image stabilization system. The lens is quite old. At the beginning of March 2007 the Olympus company announced the launch of four new Zuiko lenses. Among them was the Zuiko Digital ED 12-60 mm f/2.8-4.0 SWD model – a lens unique in more than one way. Very nice focal length range with a wide angle, good fastness, an ultra-sonic SWD motor and a fully sealed barrel these are some of advantages of this lens. We've decided to carefully check this instrument and we can present its full review today. Enjoy!

On September 9th, 2009 a full frame Leica M9 appeared on the market. This gives as a very good opportunity to test how rangefinder optics work on a full frame digital sensor. We've decided to present You toady a review of a quite old lens - Canon EF 100 mm f/2.8 Macro USM. That lens was launched in 2000 substituting its predecessor which lacked an USM motor and internal focusing. It’s perhaps worth testing how it operates on contemporary reflex cameras. Enjoy!

We've decided to present You today, our review of Sigma 120-400 mm f/4.5-5.6 APO DG OS HSM telephoto lens. It's a very interesting instrument, equipped with an optical stabilization system, HSM motor and it contains some SLD glass elements. Enjoy!

Pentax smc DA 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 AL II lens is the successor of a Pentax smc P-DA 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 AL “kit” lens. The previous “kit”, having decent optical properties, a metal mount, a fully usable manual focus ring and a distance scale was one of the better “kit lenses” on the market. We were very curious whether the new lens is better than its predecessor, so we've decided to check this and we present its full review now. Enjoy!
