In March 2007, together with the camera Nikon D40x, a new lens of this company was lunched - Nikkor AF-S DX 55-200 mm f/4-5.6G IF-ED VR. It's a zoom telephoto lens of lower price class, equipped also with an image stabilization system. The lens is quite old. Olympus Zuiko Digital ED 12-60 mm f/2.8-4.0 SWD - lens review
At the beginning of March 2007 the Olympus company announced the launch of four new Zuiko lenses. Among them was the Zuiko Digital ED 12-60 mm f/2.8-4.0 SWD model – a lens unique in more than one way. Very nice focal length range with a wide angle, good fastness, an ultra-sonic SWD motor and a fully sealed barrel these are some of advantages of this lens. Samyang 14 mm f/2.8 IF ED MC Aspherical delayed
Samyang Optics Company informed about delay in production of new lens 14mm f/2.8 IF ED MC Aspherical. The final version will be available in the first quarter of 2010. Samyang take decision to partially redesign construction of the lens to improve some parameters. This decision has been taken after careful testing first pre-production prototypes and among others after reading our review of this lens.

In 2008 on PMA fair, Nikon presented a very interesting lens - Nikkor AF-S DX 16-85 mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR. It has an universal focal length range including wide angle, and it is equipped with a 2nd generation vibration reduction system (VRII), and an ultrasonic SWM motor.
