When Canon introduced its amateur DSLR camera, model 300D, Nikon answered with its version, the D70. As it usually happens, discussions ensued over which of these two has more to offer. Canon seduced with its great quality and very quiet detector, while Nikon had a better kit lens. The discussion, however, has not yet finished. The Canon 350D is still for sale with its cheap plastic EF-S 18-55 mm while Nikon D50 or D70s owners have to pay 1000 Polish zloty extra to own a Nikkor AF-S 18-70 mm f/3.5-4.5 DX IF-ED - the lens, which is supposed to be much better that the competition kit lens. Is this true? You'll find out after reading this review.
