Sigma 150-500 mm f/5.0-6.3 APO DG OS HSM

6. Distortion

The frame edge distortion is almost imperceptible. The Sigma 150 –500 mm is characterized by a very low pincushion distortion at all focal lengths, which doesn’t change at all on stopping down. At 150 mm it amounts to just 0.30%, at 250 mm it increases to 0.37 % and at 350 mm it is 0.41% , reaching its highest level of 0.44% at 500 mm. The lens should be praised for such a performance.
