The zoom lenses with such a focal lengths range as the tested Olympus usually don’t cause any problems with the frame edge image distortion. The ZD 50-200 mm is not an exception to that rule because the distortion level at all focal lengths is low. At 50 mm we got barrel distortion of about -0.44% and in the middle of the range we got a pincushion distortion of 0.85% which decreases to 0.75% at wide aperture. As you see – no problems.
