Canon EF-S 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 IS

10. Autofocus

In this category the Canon’s performance is closer the good Pentax than the Nikkor. The autofocus buzzes slightly and is quick, as far as cheap devices go. Running through the scale takes about 0.7 second no matter what way. In the studio conditions the lens was very accurate – it missed in only 3% of all cases. Additionally, we didn’t notice any front or back focus tendencies.
