9. Ghosting and flares

Work against bright light is not a strong point of the tested lens. The situation is the worst at 16 mm, where the flares can be caught no matter whether the sun is inside and outside the frame. Still the shots with the source of light almost exactly in the frame corner or just outside it are the most troublesome ones – no matter what aperture and focal length you employ, you can catch a huge flare bisecting the frame diagonally. It can ruin the whole shot completely.
