Either the optics specialists from Venus Optics haven’t found good anti-reflection coatings yet or they didn’t darken the inside of the tube properly. As a result the performance against bright light of the Laowa 2/105 leaves a lot to be desired. Intense ghosting and flares can be caught not only with sun inside the frame; even if you move it outside there are still chances to get a reflection encompassing almost the whole frame which might ruin your photo completely. Such situations shouldn’t have happened at all.
