The Sigma A 24–70 mm performs weakly against bright light. No matter to what body it is attached, no mater what the focal length or the aperture you employ, the number of light artifacts is always high notwithstanding the position of the sun in the frame. In fact you can catch ghosting and flares even if you move the source of bright light far away from the frame.
The situation is maybe not as catastrophic as that of the Tokina but both the stabilized Nikkor and the Tamron performed better in this category.
