Venus Optics LAOWA 15 mm f/2 ZERO-D

9. Ghosting and flares

Performance against bright light can be assessed as moderately good. Light artefacts are visible for many combinations of sun position against the frame and aperture values but still you can hardly call them intensive or especially bothersome. There is one exception – a situation after a pronounced stopping down of the aperture when you move the source of bright light outside the frame. Then you can ‘catch’ a quite significant white flare which takes up a big part of your photo.
