Venus Optics LAOWA 9 mm f/2.8 ZERO-D

9. Ghosting and flares

The tested lens’s performance against bright light is hardly the best. When the sun is inside the frame you catch classic flares and small ghosting is visible even if you move the source of light far away from the frame. Problems also appear when the sun is put close to the very corner of the frame; in that case you might overexpose large areas of your photos and destroy it completely. That effect becomes especially bothersome on more pronounced stopping down.
