The Tamron SP 35 mm f/1.4 Di USD is not completely free of any problems connected to the performance against bright light. Ghosting and flares can be observed no matter whan aperture you employ, even when the source of bright light is moved far away from the frame. Fortunately they never become very intensive and don't occupy a lot of place in the frame.
Still it should be clearly said that similar problems encountered also other 1.4/35 class lenses produced by Sigma, Tamron, Nikon, or Canon . Even the Zeiss Distagon T* 35 mm f/1.4 couldn't avoid them.
