Pros: I forgot to say, this lens fits and works perfectly on the Leica CL (no interference with the cell arm) and the Minolta CLE (light measurement is absolutely correct).

Cons: Using a filter (badly needed as a protection because the front element is very vulnerable) needed a huge adapter on the older (thread mount) version. This has been corrected in the new version.
Pros: Lens is incredibly good given its angle. Distortion is virtually absent - I even use this lens in metrology when there is no space to use a longer focal length. Good contrast in all conditions; at full aperture, good sharpness at the centre and a very weak decrease to the edges, all becomes excellent at f/8. Vignetting is noticeable but not bad. No colour fringing at all with the Leica M9 (unlike with the CV 15mm). The vignetting/colour correction is best using the 6-bit code of the Leica 24mm lens (better than using Leica 16mm's code).
Summary: Excellent lens. I first thought I would use it for one shot now and then, but it actually turned out that it is among my few most favourite lenses! Makes great B&W and colour pictures, on film and on digital as well. On film it is only marginally better than the CV 4.5/15 but on digital the difference is huge and I would stringly advise to buy the 12mm rather than the 15mm.
