Cons: on FF very poor corners, if you use a Canon 5 D M.II look for the L 17-40 f4 USM or the Tokina PRO 16-28 f2.8. If you use APS-C or APS-H much better and quite good, but I use FF, so I sold it quickly. As well poor construction, ok the prize is alright, BUT.....
Pros: the center-sharpness is ok
Summary: For a FF-user bullshit!!!

Cons: Plastic construction. AF ring rotates when focusing. Extends when zooming.
Pros: Very sharp from f/2.8. Excellent lens for travelling, very light. Reasonably fast af, very accurate. Suitable for APS-C and FF.
Summary: It is a really great lens. Fast and wide enough for everyday use in or outdoor.

Cons: Somewhat serious distortion at 17mm. Vignetting is a problem (but could be software-corrected). Slow AF
Pros: Very sharp at all focal lengths except 35mm (where is still acceptable). Brilliant colors. Fast at 17mm. Quite portable.
Summary: This is one of the best UWA lenses. In my opinion, it beats the Canon 17-40L f4, it is faster, has better corner resolution, and it is much cheaper.
