As in many of its other products, Canon used high quality multiple anti-reflective coatings, which prevented inner flares from appearing.

We didn’t have a chance to take pictures in bright light, however in night combinations with artificial lights generated from different corners to the lens’s optical axis – as well as varied exposure times and diaphragm values – the performance of the lens was satisfactory. Examples of these pictures are presented below.
