Here, again, we have nothing to complain about, as can be observed in the picture below.

Chromatic aberration is considered to be absent if its level is 0.04% or less. This situation can be observed in the Nikkor for the whole middle of the focal length range, where the three ED elements perform best. At the end of the focal length range the chromatic aberration is just a bit higher and reaches 0.05%, which is still considered small.
