Nikon Nikkor AF-S DX 18-70 mm f/3.5-4.5 IF-ED

9. Ghosting and flares

One cannot really criticize Nikon's antireflective coatings, although they are not ideal since at the wide angle and against bright light photographing it is possible to obtain results just like the ones showed in the pictures below. Characteristic light flashes are visible, but they are not very intense and they are comparatively rarely present. For a 50-70 mm focal length, the view angle is so small that we couldn't catch any artifacts.
