Nikon Nikkor AF 70-300 mm f/4-5.6D ED

5. Chromatic aberration

Nikon, in this category, can be a great example to follow. Even the cheap 70-300 mm model is equipped with perfectly efficient low dispersion (ED) elements, which produced great results in the chromatic aberration category. Throughout the whole diaphragm and focal length range the chromatic aberration for our Nikkor measures between 0.03 to 0.07%, which is in the good to very good result level.
