Tokina AT-X PRO FX SD 17-35 mm f/4 (IF)
1. Introduction
I suppose the independent producers give up on that class of equipment a bit too easily. Several years ago Sigma withdrew the 17-35 mm f/2.8–4 EX DG HSM Aspherical model from the market and they haven’t launched its successor yet; Tamron offers just the quite elderly SP AF 17–35 mm f/2.8–4 Di LD Aspherical (IF). Tokina seems to be the only exception here – in 2010 they launched the AT-X PRO FX SD 16–28 mm f/2.8 (IF) and one year later they complemented their offer by the AT-X PRO FX SD 17–35 mm f/4 (IF) model. Today it is our pleasure to invite you to read the full test of the latter instrument.
