The chart below presents distortion values of full frame 1.4/24 lenses measured by us.

Sigma

Samyang
1.4/24
Canon
1.4/24 II
Nikkor
AF-S 1.4/24
APS-C/DX

−1.27%
−0.79%
−1.03%
FF
−1.20%
−2.48%
−1.26%
–2.03%

It is clear that, within the margin of error, the Sigma has the same results as the Canon 1.4/24 II. Both lenses are noticeably better than the Nikkor and the Samyang. The distortion level of −1.2%, with an angle of view reaching over 80 degrees is a very good result and once again the Sigma should be assessed positively.
