Samyang 135 mm f/2.0 ED UMC

6. Distortion

At the beginning it’s worth reminding the results of the rivals of the tested lens in this category. For example the Canon EF 135L reached 0.25% and 0.84% respectively on the APS-C and full frame. Analogous results of the Zeiss Apo Sonnar 2/135 amounted to 0.11% and 0.13%. What’s interesting, the Samyang is far closer to the Zeiss than to the Canon as it had a distortion level of 0.09% and 0.13%. Taking into account measurement errors you can say the distortion of the Samyang 2/135 is practically zero. Another round of applause!
