Astigmatism, understood as an average difference between horizontal and vertical MTF50 function values, amounted to just 2.2% so was very low. After attaching the teleconverter its level increased to 3.5% but even then you can call it practically imperceptible.

When it comes to the appearance of defocused circles of light we had no reservations of any kind either. A slight rim on the edge and a noticeable influence of mechanical vignetting were the only things that stick out but both these effects are hardly pronounced. The performance in that category should be assessed positively.
