The Milvus 1.4/85 was an example to be followed when it came to the performance against bright light. The optically complex Sigma A 1.4/85 fared moderately well. We expected the tested Canon would perform better, with results closer to those of the Milvus, as it has two groups of elements less than the Sigma. Unfortunately the Canon was actually the worst of these three. Perhaps the situation shouldn’t be called dramatic but there are definitely too many light artefacts.
