Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Summilux 10-25 mm f/1.7 ASPH
1. Introduction
The official launch of this lens took place in June 2019 and several weeks later the new Panaleica hit the shelves with a price tag of about $1800. You can't call that cheap but if a piece of equipment has the word 'Leica' in their name it is usually rather expensive - we've been used to that. Still, ordering the instrument for our tests we hoped that excellent parameters would go hand in hand with brilliant optical performance so that high price would be at least partially understandable.
We would like to thank Panasonic Polska for a quick delivery of the lens we borrowed for a full test. Our impressions can be found in the following chapters – enjoy your reading!
