9. Ghosting and flares

With such a wide angle of view and an optical construction consisting of 10 elements positioned in 9 groups it is not easy to ensure a good performance against bright light. Still Tamron managed to do it well – it takes an effort to catch ghosting or flares with the tested lens and when you finally get them, in very specific situations, they are not intensive and they don't occupy a lot of space in the frame.
