Carl Zeiss Batis 40 mm f/2 CF
1. Introduction
We have had already an opportunity to look closer at 18 and 25 mm Batis lenses and test them. To be honest we didn't enjoy them much. They also seemed a bit overpriced – later on some third-party manufacturers lenses were released on the market and somehow they managed to offer more for less money.
Still we were very curious about the performance of the Zeiss Batis 40 mm f/2 CF and the results of our testing procedure can be found in the following chapters – enjoy your reading!
