  • negligible lateral chromatic aberration,
  • lack of problems with spherical aberration,
  • moderate distortion,
  • very good coma performance,
  • practically zero astigmatism,
  • excellent performance against bright light,
  • very nice out-of-focus areas,
  • silent and quick autofocus.

Cons:

  • huge level of vignetting that can be just weakly influenced by stopping down.
I don't think I have to write at length about this lens – you get a whole array of very serious assets, record-breaking resolution levels among them, and just one flaw. I don't doubt we deal here with an outstanding lens which fully deserves our 'Editor's Choice' badge. I just wish there were more of such products on the market!
