Sigma C 65 mm f/2 DG DN
6. Distortion
Unfortunately I was let down. Traces of pincusion distortion can be noticed already on the smaller APS-C sensor and its official level reaches +0.92%. Of course you won't have any problems to notice distortion on full frame as our result amounted to as much as +2.51%.
The Voigtlander Apo-Lanthar 65 mm f/2 Aspherical 1:2 Macro, being, as a macro lens, more difficult to design, can reduce distortion to a level of +0.33% so, in our opinion, Sigma could have made more of an effort and reduce the level of that aberration at least two times.
