10. Autofocus

The autofocus of the Sony FE 2.8/24 G, joined with the Sony A7R III camera, is completely noiseless and very quick. Running through the whole distance range and confirming the focus takes about 0.3-0.4 of a second, no matter from what end you start.

The accuracy of the mechanism can also be called exemplary. Of course the parameters of the lens and a significant depth of field stemming from them help a bit but it seems that also the autofocus motor performs as it should.

We didn't observe any noticeable front or back focus tendency either.
