Fujifilm Fujinon XF 18 mm f/1.4 R LM WR
7. Coma, astigmatism and bokeh
The situation is not so good on the edge of the frame as coma and other off-axis aberrations make themselves felt. The point-like diode images get some 'wings', perhaps not expecially pronounced but still. Definitely the performance in this category can't be called good or correct.

Astigmatism, understood as an average difference between horizontal and vertical MTF50 function values, amounted to 5.9%. It is a value on the boderline between low and very low level so in this category the tested lens once again performs well.
Defocused circles of light look very well, taking into account the angle of view provided by the Fujinon. Three aspherical elements don't bother you, with barely visible onion-ring bokeh. What's more, you can notice mechanical vignetting only at the maximum relative aperture; by f/2.0 it is already reduced to minimum values.
