9. Ghosting and flares

When you stay near the maximum relative aperture ghosting and flares shouldn't bother you practically at all. After a significant stopping down the lens, though, the situation changes. Some artifacts, in a form of bright, radial beams of light, can appear in photos but only when the sun is situated a bit outside the edge of the frame. It is a quite specific and rather precise position; stay clear of it and you won't experience any problems.
