Sigma A 35 mm f/1.4 DG II

20 June 2026

9. Ghosting and flares

Photos below prove that the Sigma A 1.4/35 II deals very well with the performance against bright light. No matter what aperture you apply and what position of the sun light artifacts are few and far between. At the same time it would be difficult to notice any distinct contrast loss.

You can say the Sigma performs here the best out of four devices presented here but its advantage over the Nikkor and the Sony is slight. The Samyang 1.4/35P has the weakest result.
