5. B+W 72mm 010M UV-Haze MRC

We all should know the B+W filters. They are made by the German company Schneider Optics and made of glass from the Schott Company. The MRC series (Multi-Resistant Coating) has antireflective coatings, which also protect the filters from scratching. MRC coatings are generally considered to be harder than the glass they are put on.

Visible light (390 - 750 nm): 98.2%
Ultraviolet (200 - 390 nm): 9.0% |

Summary:

A very high third place proves the high quality of the product but it still lacks in some areas. We were disappointed with the somewhat weak UV radiation reduction, which is the filter’s main task. In the latter categories the MRC filter has no flaws. It is worth adding that the B+W filters have the best build quality and they are very easy to clean.
