Kenko is famous for high quality optical accessories designed for photography. It offers a high quality Pro1 Digital filter series. Although the Hoya and Kenko filters have the same name they have nothing in common with each other. The Kenko filters are equipped with multi-layers DMC (Digital Multi Coating) coatings and a narrow black aluminum ring.

Summary:

We were only able to test Kenko’s 67mm filter, so our vignetting tests cannot be considered relevant for other models. As a result, our overall test results for Kenko are perhaps lower than they could have been. However, the filter earned nothing but praise as far as its flare and visible light transmission are concerned. The score on the UV radiation reduction was a bit weaker. We predict that if we had been able to test the 72mm filter it would have had an excellent chance of earning one of our top five spots.
