Pros:
  • Handy, nifty and solid casing,
  • Excellent resolution in the frame centre,
  • Good resolution on the edge of the frame,
  • Correct lateral chromatic aberration control,
  • Not very bothersome distortion,
  • Negligible astigmatism,
  • Correct work of the focusing mechanism.

Cons:

  • A bit too high longitudinal chromatic aberration,
  • Coma could have been a bit lower,
  • Significant vignetting of the lens itself.

I don’t hesitate to say that the Samsung company managed to produce another good lens. It is a handy device, optically good, which fits the line-up of NX ‘primes’ perfectly well. The suggested retail price is 1699 PLN. Taking into account the fact that this lens was launched not long ago and the real prices in shops tend to be a bit lower than the suggested price tag you can say that the lens is worth such an amount of money.
