Telephoto lenses with angles of view of 30-40 degrees don’t have any problems with distortion. Compared to them, the Samsung’s 1.8/45 performance is perhaps not perfect, but it would be difficult to find any serious problems either. In the photos saved as JPEG files you can notice slight barrel distortions which values we would assess as –1.32%. In RAW photos developed by dcraw program the distortion reaches –1.36% so, within the margin of error, it remains the same.
