Samyang 50 mm f/1.4 AS UMC

3 December 2014
Arkadiusz Olech

9. Ghosting and flares

The Samyang’s 1.4/50 performance against bright light cannot be assessed in a positive way. The flares are clearly visible no matter whether the sun is inside or a bit outside the frame. What’s more the light artifacts can be pretty big and in many cases you notice a distinct contrast decrease.
