1. Introduction

Recently the Olympus company have been making a big splash concerning their PRO series lenses. It started in September 2013 with the M.Zuiko Digital 12–40 mm f/2.8 ED PRO; then the M.Zuiko Digital 40–150 mm f/2.8 ED PRO, the M.Zuiko Digital 7–14 mm f/2.8 ED PRO, the M.Zuiko Digital 8 mm f/1.8 ED PRO Fisheye and the M.Zuiko Digital 300 mm f/4.0 ED IS PRO were launched. Out of that group so far we’ve failed to test only the M.Zuiko Digital 40–150 mm f/2.8 ED PRO, the M.Zuiko Digital 7–14 mm f/2.8 ED PRO, the M.Zuiko Digital 8 mm f/1.8 ED PRO Fisheye and the M.Zuiko Digital 300 mm f/4.0 ED IS PRO. With this test we are catching up – enjoy your reading!

We would like to thank the Polish subsidiary of the Olympus company for lending us the lens for testing purposes.
