1. Introduction

The Korean Samyang belongs to one of the most thriving optical companies on the global market. The sheer number of their launches is really impressive. For instance only in 2018 they have presented six lenses so far and most likely it is not the end.

Not so long ago this company offered mainly manual devices but for some time now they have been adding autofocus models to their line-up, mostly Sony FE instruments, and there are already five of them available on the market. You can see them all compared to each other in the following chart.

The Samyang AF 24 mm f/2.8 FE is the youngest child in this group, as it was presented in June 2018, and now it is our pleasure to present its full test – enjoy!
