Samyang 85 mm f/1.8 ED UMC CS

5 October 2018
Arkadiusz Olech

6. Distortion

The tested lens provides an angle of view of about 15 degrees so we didn’t expect any serious distortion problems and, indeed, there were no problems in this category. The results we got for JPEG and RAW files are low and in accordance with each other within the margin of measuring error. The distortion was respectively +0.50% and +0.47%.
