The Chinese Viltrox is undoubtedly one of the fastest-growing producers of photography optics. They have been presenting more than one launch every year, developping three line of products at the same time: small, lightweight Air class lenses, the bigger and heavier Pro series, and the most advanced LAB series, where you deal with fast models that also feature LCD displays.
In the middle of June 2025 the Pro series was enlarged by the Viltrox AF 85 mm f/1.4 Pro so a classic portrait lens that at the moment of its launch was offered as an Sony FE mount version.
