Pros:

solid barrel, mostly made of metal,
excellent image resolution in the frame centre,
very good image resolution on the edge of the APS-C sensor,
good image resolution on the edge of full frame,
slight longitudinal chromatic aberration,
low lateral chromatic aberration,
lack of any serious problems with spherical aberration,
good coma correction,
slight vignetting on the APS-C sensor,
quiet and efficient autofocus,
sensible look of out-of-focus areas,
5-year warranty period,
good price/quality and price/performance ratio.

Cons:

unpleasant moustache distortion,
very high vignetting on full frame,
distinct focus breathing.

The Viltrox AF 35 mm f/1.2 LAB is another lens from this producer that made a very good impression. It's not a flawless construction; with such physical dimensions and optical complexity, the optics specialists could have corrected distortion and vignetting better. They also could have taken care of filmmakers and got rid of such a high level of focus breathing.

On the other hand, for $1000, a price distinctly lower than the price of many direct rivals, you get an outstandingly sharp lens that provides a very high image quality up from its very good maximum relative aperture.
