Sigma C 18-300 mm f/3.5-6.3 DC MACRO OS HSM

9. Ghosting and flares

Both Nikkors 18–300 mm corrected ghosting and flares pretty well. So far the Tamron fared the worst in this category. The Sigma can be placed right in the middle of that group. There are no huge problems but one pretty annoying feature can be observed: when you place the source of bright light in the frame corner a quite intensive and bothersome artifact appears in the opposite corner. That effect is the most visible in the 50-100 mm focal range.
