Nikon Nikkor AF-S 24 mm f/1.8G ED
10. Autofocus
We don’t have any reservations concerning the accuracy of the focusing mechanism. Attached to both bodies its performance was practically flawless.
When it comes to the front or back focus tendency we had no distinct problems whatsoever. In photos taken from a very close distance you could perceive a slight shift of depth of field in the direction of the lens but it was a very slight effect and the proper object still remained in the range of the depth so you didn’t have any impression the photos were out of focus.
