6. Distortion

We didn’t expect a macro lens with such an angle of view to have any problems with geometric deformations of images and we were right. In the case of JPEG files the distortion, amounting to just +0.13%, should be called imperceptible. The Fuji system corrects it automatically so only after analyzing RAW files with independent software you can find out its real level. In that case the distortion increased to +0.79% so also a value which shouldn’t bother you at all.
